Position Summary
This role requires strong qualitative skills, strategic thinking, sound business judgement, along with the ability to think creatively and work independently.
A Day in the Life
- Create documentation including requirements, data mappings, user stories, acceptance criteria, user guides, process flows, and flow charts.
- Interface with stakeholders (internal and external) to define and document requirements for integration solutions, often in the form of user stories.
- Assist with managing the product backlog, working with management and other appropriate sponsors to prioritize requirements, and clearly define deliverables.
- Work with the QA team to ensure understanding of requirements and review test plans to ensure the appropriate test coverage.
- Work with management and stakeholders to plan and execute User Acceptance Testing.
- Respond and prioritizes business and project issues and escalates promptly and appropriately.
- Provide training on product functionality to stakeholders during the product implementation lifecycle.
We are looking for someone who brings
- Must have strong written and spoken communication skills with the ability to present to internal and external audiences.
- Excellent relationship building skills and ability to work both individually and as a member of a team are necessary.
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in Office 365 - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Experience working with Agile development processes and the team collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence and/or Azure Dev Ops.
- Familiarity with APIs, JSON.
- Familiarity with SQL (writing simple queries, looking at databases) is a plus.
- Must have a growth mindset and subscribe to a continuous learning philosophy.
- Knowledge about fundraising and nonprofit customers preferred.
Education and Experience
- BS degree in Computer Science or Business or equivalent experience.
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA), or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) is a plus.
- Requires 3+ years of related experience, primarily with data interoperable/integration projects.
- Familiarity with agile product deployment and software development methodologies.
- Experience working within scaled agile (SAFe) methodology a plus.
