Job Description
Please Note - This role can be based at any of the below offices on a hybrid basis (2-3 days/week in office):

Join our team as a Unix/Linux System Administrator, driving technical excellence and support for internal and customer systems. Collaborate closely to ensure seamless delivery of Unix/Linux projects, surpassing expectations for existing and new customers.
Main Responsibilities:
Administer UNIX/Linux operating systems and software, resolving faults on multiple versions (RHEL, CentOS, Solaris, Ubuntu).
Support Pre-Sales & Sales teams in developing client solutions with suitable technology.
Assist in onboarding new customers and implementing solutions, overseeing projects from design to delivery.
Conduct controlled build, reconfiguration, and upgrades adhering to change control procedures.
Create, test, and maintain systems configuration and procedural documentation.
Participate in 24x7 on-call support, applying OS patches, and upgrading administrative tools.
Investigate root causes of infrastructure and application issues, ensuring access and security using configuration management tools.
Visit client sites as needed for meetings and issue resolution.
Qualifications
Essential Skills:
Strong knowledge of Solaris 10 & 11, including virtualization and management with Oracle Enterprise Manager Ops Center.
Strong knowledge of RHEL/CentOS 5/6/7 in an enterprise environment.
Knowledge of Debian/Ubuntu and Orchestration/Configuration Management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
Experience managing full application stacks and supporting complex multi-server infrastructures.
Progressing projects from design to delivery, with understanding of UNIX/Linux system design and configuration.
Eligible for NPPV and Security Clearance
Experience working with 3rd party vendors and providing on-call support.
Proficiency in software management, virtualization (preferably VMWare), scripting languages (Bash, Ruby, Python), and TCP/IP networking.
Desirable Skills:
Experience in systems administration within a Managed Services environment.
Familiarity with containerization (Docker), web technologies (Apache, JBoss), and RDBMS databases (particularly Oracle).
Knowledge of network security, NetApp (NAS and SAN), Backup Solutions (preferably HP Data Protector), and MTAs (e.g., EXIM, Sendmail, Postfix).
Experience maintaining professional standards and compliance with ISO27001 certification and Company Security Policy.
Education / Qualifications:
Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
ITIL Foundation V3 certification.
Successful completion of CCAT online examination.
