2nd Line Support - System Administrator. £220.00 Day Rate - Outside IR35.
6 Months Contract. Warwick, Warwickshire. Onsite - Monday to Friday. Contract. T6/MN/18473.
Global organisation is seeking to secure a 2nd Line Support - System Administrator.
Role:
- Providing effective 2ndLine Support for the Global Cloud, Infrastructure & Security Services teams.
- Contact point for receiving & handling desktop escalation requests.
- Provide 2nd Line Service Desk support - Monitoring the online support ticketing system.
- Provide supplementary BAU & Project support for the Cloud, Infrastructure & Security teams.
- Support internal & external customers.
- Act as a bridge between 1st & 2nd Line Global IT Support across - Cloud / Infrastructure / Security / Applications groups.
- Escalate Support Tickets to 3rdLine Support.
- ITIL environment.
- Onsite support - Monday to Friday.
Technical Skills & Experience:
- 2nd Line Support - ideally 3+ years’ experience.
- IT Support Delivery - within medium to large mature complex technical environments.
- Excellent IT Customer Service skills.
- Desktop support - onsite & remote.
- Strong desktop troubleshooting & information gathering skills.
- Managing Service Requests, Incident Tickets - updating tickets & escalating tickets.
- Office 365 - Managing common Office 365 Services - users, security, SharePoint, Exchange, Teams, licensing, migrating Office 365 domains.
- Azure Active Directory sync - hybrid AD environment - experience.
- Azure Active Directory Domain Services, Azure B2C - on-prem domain controllers, conditional access, Azure AAD Sync, Hybrid AD.
- Azure Cloud & on-premise AD role-based access control - awareness of / or have experience.
- MDM - Intune - troubleshooting, log reviews, policy development, Endpoint deployments & Autopilot - will consider alternative MDM experience i.e., AirWatch, JAMF, MobileIron etc.
- Networking - Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, SDWAN, Ping - connecting users - basic support.
- Excellent communicator - both oral & written English.
- Proactive & diligent approach.
- Approachable & flexible demeanour.
Desirable Experience:
- PowerShell Scripting.
- Windows 2019 - 2012 Server.
- ITIL Foundation Certified.
- Azure Certified.
