Job description
The Ice Co are looking to recruit a full time, permanent Marketing Assistant to join their small marketing team based in South Kirkby, West Yorkshire. The Ice Co is the UK’s No1 Ice Brand with a team who have a passion for all things ice.
The right candidate should bring creativity, enthusiasm and flair to the team. Creating content for our social media platforms is a key part of the role, therefore the candidate must be passionate and active on social media.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- To bring a creative flair to the team along with an array of fresh ideas.
- To create, plan and post social media content on a regular basis which inspire a new audience of followers.
- To be regularly researching into the latest food and drink trends, drinks recipes, mixologists, influencers and hotspots, always ensuring there is some relation to ice.
- To assist with identifying and building relationships and partnerships with those that would work well with the brand including influencers, industry professionals and brands.
- Join and eventually lead the Events Committee, assisting with organising company events.
- To maintain strong relationships with our suppliers such as printers, designers, photographers and videographers.
- To assist with creating internal staff communication newsletters, posters and updating our digital signage with key company messages.
- To assist with booking and sending parcels with our courier partner.
- To respond to general marketing requests.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with our suppliers such as agencies, printers, designers, photographers and videographers.
- Copywriting for the website, press and company literature.
- Occasional travel to conferences and events.
- To have passion and enthusiasm of all things ice and embrace our strong company culture.
- To be an ambassador for the company, culture and values.

SALARY & BENEFITS
Between £20,000 - £22,000 dependent on experience
