The ICT Systems Administrator is responsible for ensuring the organisation’s core technology stacks continue to operate at an optimum level, including its platforms, core virtualised server environment, firewalls, networks, storage, backup and disaster recovery provisions. You will also provide support and expertise to users, and with the wider ICT service, plan, implement and review new system rollouts and/or changes to systems and the business processes that use those systems.
This is an exciting time to join Horton’s ICT service as we embark on significant improvement and digital transformation programs across our whole ICT service provision. We are looking for someone with the expertise and drive to influence and help deliver ICT platforms that are fit for our needs now and drive innovation in our operations for the future.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience with the deployment of Windows Operating Systems (mainly Windows 10 – becoming Windows 11), including MDM and Remote management tools.
- Microsoft Office 365 administration experience including SharePoint, Exchange Online, Azure AD, In-Tune & Teams.
- Experience with the technical administration and management of Microsoft Server Technologies, including but not limited to: Microsoft Windows Server (2016 – 2019), Exchange (2016 onwards), Active Directory Services, DNS, DHCP, GPO’s, PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Mobile device management principles and practical experience
- Networking – Switch, Router and Firewall administration skills, including vLan and VPN configurations.
- An understanding of Information and Data Security principles
The salary for this role is £38,000 per annum, working full time 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday, agile and flexible working arrangements available. The role is based in Bradford.
