We have an exciting opportunity for a Reference Data Systems Administrator to join our Reference Data Team. This unique role will encompass your technical skills as well as your business knowledge to enable successful end to end delivery of our solutions.
As part of the team you’d be responsible maintaining and developing Sky’s various product catalogues, collaborate with all areas of Sky to lead and shape change and deliver innovative solutions whilst working across a broad portfolio of projects!
What you'll do:
- Collaborate with design and development teams to define solutions that flex or extend existing system capabilities with a focus on supporting rapid change and business configurability.
- Utilise your technical expertise to design, build and maintain reference data within our Customer Management Platform and Product Catalogue framework.
- Manage the Delivery of Reference data across multiple Environments.
- Work with the business and technical partners providing advice, and guidance, on Reference Data Capabilities to support delivery of workstreams and projects
- Work collaboratively with peers in Reference Data to achieve goals, share knowledge and address issues
- Crafting reports and dashboards as requested using (Excel, SharePoint and JIRA)
- Run permission levels that are appropriate for each user across Reference Data Systems.
- Define and contribute to routine system maintenance procedures
What you'll bring:
- Ability to develop and maintain strong business relationships at all levels
- Strong communication & stakeholder leadership skills coupled with a deep technical awareness to be able to communicate to both technical and non-technical Stakeholders at all levels.
- A good level of experience of SQL is vital
- A solid understanding of data structures & relational databases
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills in particular advanced Excel and Access
- A good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- A working knowledge of XML, Xpath, PL/SQL, VBA, Jenkins and JSON would be advantageous.
