Essential Functions and Responsibilities

1. Attend departmental and official Liberty University Meetings as required.

2. Work closely with the Creative Director to develop creative content for each office under the authority of the Office of Spiritual Development.

3. Create video assets for the Office of Spiritual Development.

4. Create digital assets for the Office of Spiritual Development .

5. Create print assets for the Office of Spiritual Development.
6. Remains abreast of existing and emerging technologies, processes, products, services and leading industry performance benchmarks.

7. Works effectively as a team member, embracing and fostering LU’s mission.

Qualifications, Credentials, and Competencies

Four0 year college degree, with a concentration in Marketing, Management, Communications, Graphic Design, or Cinematography. Strong videography and video editing experience is required. Well-developed communications skills. Required Action for Employment Consideration: All applicants applying for the Creative Videographer/Editor position are required to submit a current portfolio to be considered for the position. Please either attach a PDF version of your portfolio or a link to where your portfolio can be viewed online. 2 + years in a professional Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Web Design, Video Editing, Audio Engineering, Copy writing or other creative position preferred.

Effective communication both verbally and in writing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to intuitively reason, analyze information and events, and apply judgment in order to solve problems of both a routine and complex nature. Excellent computer and organizational skills. Regularly lift 10 or fewer pounds. Proof of a valid Virginia driver’s license, an acceptable DMV record, and liability insurance is required.
