System Design Engineer- Aerospace

Your new role:
As a System Design Engineer, you will be one of our quality consultants performing on one of our major engineering projects in the UK. You will also be contributing to our development and growth within the Aerospace industry.
As System Design Engineer your main responsibilities will be to:
- Analyse System Level Problem Reports including root cause analysis
- Explore solutions at Sub-System Design
- Support Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews
- Perform Safety Analysis and FMEA / FMECA reports
- Create, modify, and review Software High Level Requirements
- Create, modify, and review System Integration tests
- Execute Systems Integration tests
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will possess a passion for Engineering, with a result oriented and proactive mind-set. The successful candidate will have the chance to work on several exciting projects throughout their career with Alten, developing their engineering knowledge as a System Design Engineer and a consultant.
Experience required:
- Strong MATLAB/Simulink and C, C++ skills
- Knowledge of regulation and certification requirements
- Proven understanding of the aerospace standards: DO178, DO254.
- Previous experience within Aerospace is essential, preferable within aircraft engine
- Previous experience leading a team
Qualifications required:
Degree in a relevant engineering disciple with demonstrable experience.
