Salary: Grade 7 £25,244 - £27,585 (pro rata)
Contract: Permanent, Part-time, 22.5hrs per week

About the role:
The post predominately works on our subsidiary the South West Apprenticeship Company, but is situated in our busy and friendly Finance team at our offices in Hengrove. Day to day activity will include accounts payable & accounts receivable work, Bank reconciliations and journals.
The role will also be involved in the production of Management Accounts, VAT returns, Audit and Statutory accounts.
You will be proactive, methodical with the ability to plan your workload to achieve deadlines and be able to work autonomously once trained.
You must be an enthusiastic and personable self-starter with a keen eye for detail, a high standard of accuracy within your work and the ability to plan your workload to achieve deadlines. You should also be comfortable using - or be keen to learn – accountancy software such as Sage and Aptos. A good working knowledge of Excel and Outlook are important as these are used daily.
You will also be a confident communicator with the ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with colleagues, students and stakeholders both internally and externally.
