Sustainability Specialist / Energy Optimisation Engineer
Based from our Westbury Dairy plant (80%) with support across our UK supply chain of 9 manufacturing sites (20%)
Days role: Monday – Friday (37.5 hours)

About the job
We have sustainability high on the agenda and have set some very ambitious goals for our future climate footprint, which is why energy optimizations that you want to drive are crucial for success on that front.
As Sustainability Specialist / Energy Optimisation Engineer at Westbury Dairy and in supporting the UK you will be part of a committed, ambitious team that works extensively with tomorrow's technology in the effort to be best in class. There are large investments in the pipeline, including part earmarked for the energy area, for which you will have the primary responsibility.
The responsibilities will cover, among other things:
- Project implementation in the field of energy
- Energy optimisation in day-to-day operations
- Set the standard for energy requirements for existing and not least new installations
- Ensure an updated energy mapping, data collection, set up KPIs and ensure general energy "awareness" that lives in the organization
- Ensuring we are compliant in the field
Who are you?
Coming from a technical / engineering background with solid grounding of industry experience and/or education;
- Experience with thermal energy, electricity, water usage, Gas, Compressed air, boiler/steam system, preferably cooling.
- Experience with project management / project delivery – capex delivery as well as budget control
- Impact and ability to work systematically
- Desire and ability to learn new things and familiarize yourself with new technologies, as well as lead the way with innovative solutions and proposals
- An ambitious approach to tasks
- The ability to keep many plates spinning, as well as participate in several different projects, both internal and external
- Commitment and positive attitude
