Blue Ribbon Health & Wellbeing is an innovative, pro-active and person-centred care provider of specialist support services for individuals with Learning Disabilities & Autism, who may exhibit behaviour which could be termed as challenging. We offer both Residential and Supported Living services to the individuals we support, with services throughout the Northwest, but with serious ambitions of growth over the next year.
We currently have vacancies for Support Workers at our supported living site in Accrington to enable the individuals we support to access a full range of chosen activities. We are interested to hear from individuals who are passionate about assisting others, work with positivity, honesty and integrity at all times and are keen to work in an environment where everyone matters.
To succeed in this role, you will need to get to know the individuals we support and contribute to the development of their person centred plan, always seeking to meet the needs and wants of the individual. You will also need to complete all documentation as required (including updating plans and notes), along with maintaining a friendly and professional approach even when managing complex and/or challenging behaviours demonstrated by the individual.
Previous experience of support work would be advantageous, however full training will be provided.
Please note that to work as a Support Worker for Blue Ribbon Health and Wellbeing, you must be at least 18 years old.
