Job Role: Support Worker – Rehabilitation
Location: Church Stretton
Hours: 10hrs per week - contracted
Pay: £14-£16
Core hours on a rota basis: Flexible but probably after school Monday and Thursday and Saturday Mornings

Background:
*Frankie is an active and energetic 8 yr old boy who lives in the family home with his mum, dad, and twin brother. *Frankie has a brain injury resulting in cerebral palsy and requires support to follow therapy plans including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, and school homework.
*Frankie attends the local mainstream school which he enjoys. Out of school he has many hobbies, he loves to spend time playing with his brother, gaming, YouTube, hydrotherapy, horse riding, riding his bike, and sport. He is a very shy little boy and needs someone to support him to develop and build his confidence to live his life to the fullest.
His ideal rehabilitation support worker will love to work with an active young boy, have an interest in rehabilitation, and a passion to make a difference to a young person’s life.
This role is varied and requires someone who:
- Enjoys swimming and physical sports
- Flexible with after school hours (more hours in the school holidays)
- Driver
- Confident around horses and animals (the family have horses and animals)
