It is an exciting time at Sense as we are now recruiting Support Workers to join our friendly well-established teams in our Kingstanding residential services.
Roles are permanent, working full time for 37.5 hours per week. We are offering Support Workers in Kingstanding £20,961 per annum.
Our home consists of 5 bedrooms and the individuals we support have a range of complex needs, including sensory loses/impairments, learning disabilities and/or mobility impairments.
Care is provided around the clock. We take particular pride in the range of activities and wellbeing events we provide for the people we support. Some of the activities are attending our resource centre Touchbase Pears, adapted cycling, swimming, bowling, ice skating, rock climbing, sailing and wheelie boat sessions, meals out, pub visits, weekly rambles visiting local parks and also visit places of natural beauty. The staff team arrange day trips and also support on holidays in the UK and abroad.
A full manual UK license is required as we have manual company vehicles used to drive and take individuals to appointments, activities outside of the home and trips.
The shifts vary throughout the week and the shift pattern at this service are as follows: 7am-2.30pm, 2pm-9.30pm and sleep-in shift is from 9:15pm-7:15am.
We have 2 services at this location B44 in Birmingham and you will discuss at your interview which service would be the best one for you to join us in.
