We will provide you with all the training, support and personal protective equipment you need in your role and will help you develop, should you decide you want to develop your career with us. Who you'll be supporting & more about the role: Our Service is a unique bungalow with 4 bedrooms. Our tenants share the communal lounge and kitchen. We provide 1:1 support for 4 tenants. All tenants have an individual support plans, ensuring they are supported in a person-centred way and are promoted to make own choices. Each person has their own individual care package of support. What is important to us? Promoting personalised choice and options regarding independent living, promoting wellbeing and independence. All tenants choose individual activities and staff are matched to the tenant to promote inclusion and personal choice being respected and valued. Working closely with families and significant others within the person we support circle of care. Promoting equality, diversity, and following professional boundaries. We offer exceptional training and a professional induction into the service, ensuring you have the skills and knowledge to provide tailored support. We will allocate you a “buddy” on your first day, to ensure you have an allocated person to assist in the transition into service. Working as part of a team and forming excellent working relationships About you We need highly reliable and motivated people with a passion to support out tenants in a person-centred manner. We need you to be flexible to meet our needs and our service and our tenants. We need you to able to have positive relationships with our families and the individuals highlighted in the circles of support. We need you to commit to the shift patterns of 07.30 to 15.00, 14.00 to 21.30, including a sleeping night which is 14.45 to 22.15 finishing at 07.30 the following day, and a waking night 21.30 to 07.30. We need you to be committed to complete all the training and additional training required within your role. We need you to be kind compassionate and be fun and think “out of the box”. Ensuring all support is delivered to ensure our tenants have the “Best life Possible”. We need you to be friendly towards the people we support but remain within professional boundaries. We need you to always communicate and listen to us and respect what we have to say and become a valued team player. We need you to fully document all interactions and be committed to supporting all tenants and meet their care needs, to ensure all documents remain compliant. Your values: We know it takes a special person to work in social care and we recognise that not everyone that would be perfect for the role, will have professional experience.
