We are seeking experienced Learning Disability Support Workers to join our growing friendly team to provide regular support in and around Tamworth and Lichfield. Hours and days of work will vary on a rota basis agreed in advance and so flexibility to work accross a variety of the the following is essential:

Day shifts 08:00 - 16:00 / 09:30 - 16:30

Late shifts 16:00 - 23:00

Some weekends as part of a rota system 09:00 - 16:00 / 16:00 - 23:00

*In addition there will be a requirement to provide occasional sleep in cover (paid in addition per sleep in).

You must have enthusiasm, drive and the desire to make a difference, as well as to be flexible, patient and able to view situations from a service user’s perspective. You’ll need to be non–judgemental, with a sensitive approach and a good understanding of how to meet complex needs related to learning disability, Autism and physical impairment.

Responsibilities will include providing support and assistance to our clients with personal and domestic related tasks, as well as facilitating access to social, vocational and leisure based activities both at home and within the local community.

We are looking for someone to join us on a permanent basis, full time.

*All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From £12.00 per hour
