Support Worker / Care Assistant - End of Life / Palliative
A driving licence and access to a car are essential for this role
£10.15 - £13.54 per hour
Part time evening and weekend roles available across Liverpool working within the community
End of life care isn’t all about dying, could you make a difference to someone?
As a Palliative Support Worker you will work in partnership with Marie Curie Nurses to deliver high standards of quality end of life care to Crossroad Together Clients and provide support to their families.
In order to join our team we require support workers to be NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Health and Social Care, reliable, dedicated and compassionate. You will have at least six months care experience, including caring for individuals within the community. You will be highly motivated, an excellent communicator and work well both individually and within a team.

About You:
- 6 Months Care experience delivering care within a care setting
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Health and Social Care
- Able to treat people with dignity, empathy and compassion
- Excellent communication skills

Experience working with terminally ill clients desirable but not essential
This highly rewarding support worker role can involve providing personal care, practical and emotional support to help individuals of any age to maintain their independence in their own homes and to lighten the load for their unpaid carers, such as family, neighbours and friends.
Successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check and stringent vetting of employment history and references will be undertaken
