Job description
We are currently looking for a number of experienced Support Workers to work in our supported living houses in Brighton and Hove.
The Grace Eyre Foundation is a charity that has been working with people with learning disabilities since 1898, across Sussex. Our mission is to be led by people with learning disabilities in the delivery of high-quality housing, support, employment, and activities in their local communities.
We have weekday, weekend and evening/sleep in shifts available. Sleep in shifts are paid at a rate of £69.76 per shift.
Your role will be to support people with learning disabilities and autism with day to day tasks both in our supported living houses and out in in the community.
We support people with all aspects of their lives, such as daily living skills, medication, personal care and finances as well as accessing community activities. You will need to have good communication skills and just enjoy spending time with people.
We are looking for people who are patient, compassionate, understanding and able to use their own initiative.
