Support Worker
Location: Bournemouth & Christchurch
Salary: £10,675.69 inclusive of geographical allowance
Hours: 20 per week (Mon-Sun, including weekends, evenings and bank holidays. Sleep-ins required)

We are excited to recruit a Support Worker to join our team in Bournemouth & Christchurch!
About the Role
This service currently supports seven customers with learning disabilities and epilepsy in a residential care home setting. You will work together with the team and in partnership with other agencies to provide an excellent service. You will be passionate about ensuring the service we deliver is person-centred and support our customers to develop their confidence, skills, and independence in their homes and in the local community including:
- Maintaining their homes
- Budgeting and shopping
- Planning and preparing meals
- Personal care
- Accessing activities in the community (study, volunteering, social/leisure activities)
- Support with medication
- Accompanying customers to appointments and/or excursions
- Support with finding employment
- Maintaining relationships with family and friends.
About You
The successful candidate will have experience of working with people with learning difficulties and/or epilepsy. We would love to hear from you if you are passionate about improving the lives of local, vulnerable people, have previous experience in care and the ability and determination to support people with complex needs, mental health conditions and learning disabilities.
