Commercial Farm Worker – Horsham, Norwich Woodbridge, England
Job description
Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday, 7.00am – 15:30pm and Friday’s, 7:00am – 2:30pm, 39 hours per week.
Pay Rate: £11.00 per hour Monday – Friday
£14.66 per hour Saturday and Sunday and any hours worked over 39 hours, Monday to Friday.
Reporting To: Farm manager
Main tasks for the role will include the following:
- Supporting the farm in the day to day running and to produce birds of the highest standards
- Ensuring Poultry Welfare standards are maintained ant that you and the team maintain safe working practices
- Ensuring provision of ventilation, feed, water and optimal conditions are kept at optimum levels
- Having a good attitude and being reliable
- Maintaining up to date and accurate records
- Assisting with bedding up, mucking out and wash down of site when turnaround of birds happens
Own transport for this role is essential.
