Summary of the Role’s main purpose
- Working for a Tableware specialist company.
- Responsible for developing and implementing commodity plans for tableware for a versatile customer profile.
- You will monitor sales trends and analyse sales performance and stock levels whilst always making recommendations to the management team for their high-profile customers.
- You will manage product critical path ensuring each milestone is met and on time delivery is on track.
- You will be responsible to provide general administrative duties.
Principle accountabilities
- Critical Path Management ensuring shipment is on time and is updated as amendments are agreed - i.e. price, shipment, quantity etc.
- Maintain and further build customer relationships and providing excellent customer service.
- Supporting with day-to-day admin including completing quotations and cost models chasing.
- Support with the supply chain process from point of order through to delivery.
- General administration including sending showroom maintenance sending parcels where required and chasing different stakeholders.
- Any other duties as and when required.
Essential technical skills, knowledge, and experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience of merchandise positions and with a proven track record.
- Robust commercial awareness and analytical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated delivery of efficient stock management.
- Strong verbal and written influencing skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise to meet targets.
- End to end buying / procurement processes.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong numerical skills.
- Passion for homewares or fashion industry
- Must be resilient and have a strong can-do attitude.
- Must be fully literate with excel, word and PowerPoint.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week
Salary: £8.44-£12.50 per hour
