Job description
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
· Ensure our guests are at the heart of the care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing.
· Be responsible for promoting and protecting the welfare of those Guests supported by the service.
· Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals supported by the service.
· To provide care & support in accordance with current best practices, according to policy and procedures, agreed standard, legislative requirements and relevant regulations under the direction of the Registered Manager.
· To supervise the care services within Virtue Health Services in accordance with agreed standards.
· Complete MAR charts and count medications.
· Undertake weekly room searches.
· Ensure detailed notes and handovers are completed.
· Administer medication and record in line with best practice and VHS policy & procedures.
· If required attend appointments with Guests.
· Seek opportunities to engage with our Guests.
· To maintain skills at a current level and undertake such training and development for your role.

· Experience of working in a similar role.
· A proactive approach to working in a challenging environment.
· An understanding of, but not limited to; medical, cognitive and mental health conditions which affect guests.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS
Essential
· Mandatory Training
· Care Certificates (can be superseded by NVQ 2/3)
· NVQ in Health and Social Care
Desirable – any of the following
· H&S Qualification
· First Aid at Work qualified
· MH/LD/PD/PDA/PBS Training
