Support Worker - Sunderland
Must have a Level 3 in Children & Young People's Workforce / NVQ L3 in Health and Social Care
Must have at least 6 months of experience working with children and young people
Fully flexible contracts, days or nights
£10.70 per hour
We are currently looking for a hardworking, caring, compassionate Support Worker to join our friendly supported accommodation service, based in Sunderland.
We create a homely environment where children will feel safe, secure, and nurtured in their critical formative years, enabling them to build resilience and develop into adults who are not disadvantaged by their history. As a Support Worker, you’ll assist individually and as part of a team to help young people with emotional, behavioural, and learning disabilities achieve their full potential.

- Ability to take direction from others and to learn from own experience to develop and improve practice.
Requirements of the Role:
The key attributes and resilience, for working with children with a Learning disability (LD) as well as managing challenging behaviour they may present.
- Understand the importance of providing a stable environment for children
- Experience working with children with Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties
- At least 6 months experience within the last 3 years of working with children and young people
