Salary: Up to £24,372.40 per annum

Location: Holywell, Flintshire

Contract: Full Time; Permanent

Hours: 43 hours per week; 3 days on, 3 days off

Options Autism are recruiting Adult Support Workers to join our teams in the Flintshire region. Our residential homes provide high quality accommodation for adults with autism, complex needs and/or learning disabilities. This would be an ideal role for those interested in supporting adults with varied and complex needs.

Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure. Working in a residential environment where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, individuals are listened to, respected, and involved in as many decisions as possible.

The homes are based in Flintshire and within commutable distance of Holywell, Ellesmere Port, Prestatyn, Chester and surrounds

Although, experience is not required, we need people who fit the following criteria

  • People with a big heart and passion to make a difference to the residents’ lives
  • Understanding that the people we care for can be challenging
  • Be patient, resilient and calming
  • Become the “go to” person for help, support and guidance with their everyday needs
  • Willingness to learn not only about the people we support, but the ins and outs of Adult care, by working towards a funded qualification in Adult Care Work.
