We are seeking a Paralegal/Legal Administrative Support Assistant for our busy team of Lawyers/Legal Assistants, who cover various areas of law within Legal Services.
To provide general administrative support to Legal Services.
To assist and support the Business Support Manager in providing an efficient personal and confidential administrative support service to Legal Services.

The BSU (Business Support Team) provides specialist legal administrative support to numerous lawyers in a variety of legal fields and specialisms.

To provide general administrative support to Legal Services.
To assist and support the Business Support Manager in providing an efficient personal and confidential administrative support service to Legal Services.
To be responsible for the production of correspondence, reports, agreements, templates of new precedents and other documents to agreed standards and deadlines.
To provide general administrative support to Legal Services including:
- Prepare accurate and properly indexed bundles for hearings;
- Photocopying, scanning, sealing and collation of documents;
- Answering telephones and taking messages;
- Arranging meetings and appointments;
- Delivery of documents
To index new Deeds, Contracts, Leases, court and other documents arising out of the work of the legal teams and to arrange retrieval of such documents from storage promptly as and when required.
To use information technology systems to input data and extract information relevant to the legal team and to maintain such databases and spreadsheets in relation to the work and performance of the legal teams as required.
To assist the Business Support Manager with the co-ordination of Legal Services team diaries including Court diaries.
To undertake other administrative duties in Legal Services as may be required commensurate with the grade of the job.
To work in a corporate and co-operative way both within the Administrative Support Team and the Business Support Unit as a whole.
To use and assist others in the use of information technology systems to carry out duties in the most efficient and effective manner.
To achieve agreed service outcomes and outputs, and personal appraisal targets, as agreed by the line manager.
To undertake training and constructively take part in meetings, supervision, seminars and other events designed to improve communication and assist with the effective development of the post and post holder.
