Job description
Someone special needed to work with a young man of 22. This young man has dyspraxia, autism, hypo-thyroid and eczema. He has been supported by our Company for about six years. Covid has really impacted the activities that he is willing to take part in, and he is now finding it hard to sleep, and eat healthily.
We need a support worker with a full tool box of skills especially humour, to encourage this young man to get out of his car and take part in activities he used to enjoy with our support workers pre-covid: Going “swimming” at Pentewan sea-horses, going down the tubes at Waterworld Newquay, Mylor sailability, going for gluten-free cake at Fowey and St Mawes, ensuring a walk before hand. Visiting Bodmin and Wenford railway, he loves flags and enjoys buying one at this location particularly.
He is fully continent and needs prompts to wash/dress and brush teeth. Full support needed with shave.
