Job Title: Support Worker
Responsibilities:
- Provide support and assistance to individuals with physical or intellectual disabilities
- Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, and medication reminding
- Support individuals in developing and maintaining social connections and participating in community activities
- Help individuals with household tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping
- Document and report any changes in behavior or health status to the appropriate supervisor
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure the well-being of the individuals in your care
Qualifications:
- High school certificate or equivalent
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Reliable transportation to travel to different locations as needed
Note: This position may require working evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the needs of the individuals being supported.
