Embrace Housing is a not-for-profit organisation providing support to females across Bedfordshire. We are currently looking for Support Workers to join our team located in Caddington. Due to the location of the service it is beneficial for applicants to be drivers. This role will support up to 3 young females with a range of social and emotional needs.
If you are an Emotionally Available Adult who enjoys working with young people, we would love to hear from you. The Support Worker role includes waking nights to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our young people.
Support Worker Duties include:
Working shifts which include evenings, weekends and bank holidays
Supporting our young people with the activities they enjoy, such as shopping and going on walks around the area
Collaborating with colleagues, families and professionals to ensure the young people receive a coordinated and consistent service
Supporting individuals to manage all aspects of their home environment
Support with budgeting and finances
Support with cooking and meal preparation
Experience is not essential for this role as full training will be provided. However, you must be able to demonstrate a warm and caring personality with a positive and proactive approach to the role.
