You will join an inclusive, supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with learning disabilities. Whether you have experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Care Worker, you will use your knowledge and skills to help support people lead a valued and fulfilled life.
It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve; being able to do something today that they couldn’t do last week because of you.

Where you will be working
Location: School House, School Walk, Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey TW16 6RB
You will be working at School House, a service which provides support for people who may be living with moderate learning disabilities with associated health needs, autism and behaviours.
Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will offer support to people as part of their care pathway. Whether it is moving from their community placement or a family home because they require more structured care and support.
The shift patterns include working 7.5 hours a day between the hours 7am and 9.30pm, including weekends on a rota basis. Permanent, full-time position. Extra hours are optional.

All what we expect from you is
- The ability to show strong empathy, a caring and compassionate nature
- The need to drive and/or swim or cycle is to support the service and its users in community trips and assisting with swimming and cycling sessions weekly. This will involve use of the company vehicle to drive service users to venues and being in the pool with service users to assist them. Drivers must hold the UK driver's license.
- Willing to support the resident with the personal hygiene
- People skills, communication skills and a good sense of humour

- You must live in the UK and have the Right to Work in the UK full time. 20-hour Student Visa's cannot be accepted.

- £500 welcome bonus offered on the full time contracts only, paid £250 on the first wage, and £250 after three months once passed the probation.
