Community Integrated care are looking for an outstanding Support Workers in the Broadstone area of Poole - Full and part-time available.

Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

We live in Broadstone Poole area. There are supermarkets and local shops close by. We have built relationships with people in the local community and they are all very friendly. There are some buses which go to our local area, however these are not very regular.

We live in a number of flats and we require staff who can support us with our day to day lives, including support with medication, managing our emotions, eating and drinking, personal care, behaviours of concern, moving & positioning, communication, and anything else that we may need support with.

What is important to us

We all get along with each other really well, despite being so different! We all look out for each other and like spending time together. We all enjoy spending time together, as well as doing our own things as we have a lot of different Interests such as arts & crafts, shopping, going out for coffee & cake, dancing and singing, rugby, reading, pamper days, going for drives in the country, long walks and much, much more. We like to use our car's to go out and about so if you drive that is a bonus!

'Y' would like to become more independent and only requires support for a few hours per day. They would like to live alone. One of the people that we support has tremors in their arms and hands, and would like to learn to drive, this is something they are very eager to do and overcome!

We require staff who can support us with our day to day lives, including support with medication, managing our emotions, eating and drinking, personal care, behaviors of concern, moving & positioning, communication, and anything else that we may need support with.
