About the role
We are searching for a Support Worker to help empower the fabulous young adults who attend our adult day service at InFocus. We currently have 14 young adults who use our day service on a weekly basis, it will be your job to provide person-centred, high-quality care to our young adults and support them to make their own decisions, achieve their personal goals and help them develop and/or maintain daily living skills. All within an excellent community care setting.
InFocus will support the successful candidate every step of the way by providing an excellent, bespoke induction programme including mandatory training which will provide the best possible start, by ensuring a full understanding of the role.
We offer many opportunities for personal development, in fact, if you haven’t already obtained a Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or equivalent, we will fund and support you in the enrolment and training of this qualification which is a requirement of the role.
Working Pattern
We have full time and part time roles available;
Full time: Monday – Friday 09:00 – 16:30
Part time: 2, 3 or 4 days per week working 09:00 – 16:30
The service closes over the Easter and Christmas holiday period, so there is a requirement to take annual leave during this time.
