Job Title: Floating Young Person 16 - 18 Support Worker
Locations; Dudley, Rowley Regis and Northfield.
Hours: Must be flexible to do Day, Evening and Waking Night Shifts
Must have a driving license and willing to get business insurance
Must have DBS on the update service
Must be available to start immediately.
Must have a minimum of 1 years experince of working with Young People
Must be over 21 for legal reasons
Accountable to: Senior Support Worker and Service Manager
Job Summary
Due to the nature of the role and legal requirements, the applicants must be 21 years and over.
The Support Worker will provide direct person-centred support to young people with complex needs aged between 16-18 years old in a supported accommodation. The support will be responsive to their practical and emotional needs and they will act as an appropriate role model. The support worker will work closely with the young people to effectively support management and staff teams to support them in line with their placement plans to develop their social and independent living skills and To enable Young People to have control over all aspects of their daily life and to ensure they are supported to develop their abilities in line with their Pathway Plans and risk assessment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week
Salary: £10.00 per hour
