We are currently hiring a Permanent Full-Time IT Support Technician in Red Deer.

You will be responsible for

Providing remote and on-site technical support for troubleshooting for desktop support

Monitoring and responding to incoming service requests by phone, email or in-person.

Configuration, upgrading, installing, and repairing IT assets.

Identifying and recommending solutions to clients

PC Hardware, software and peripherals managements and troubleshooting

Management of Microsoft server and desktop operating systems

Requirements
2+ years systems support experience in a hands-on technical role
Diploma in computer science or information technology
Microsoft Certification(s) (Microsoft Azure, 365, Server, and/or Desktops)
Basic understanding of server and network environments
Ability to support Windows operating systems
Ability to support Microsoft Office Applications including Office 365 – an asset
Familiarity with backup solutions, Anti-Virus, Anti-Malware – an asset
Basic technical training (CompTIA or Equivalent) – an asset
CompTIA Network • CISCO, CCNA or CCIE, SQL Certification
Strong troubleshooting skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
Excellent customer service skills.
Valid driver’s license and vehicle
