Job description
The ideal candidate will have a background in Payments with experience in application design as well as strong Business Analysis skills. They will be passionate about business analysis work, have a strong attention to detail, be highly delivery-focused, and eager to share their skills and knowledge with their team members.
Role
In this position, you are responsible for:
- Identifying the documents and artefacts which describe the business change, absorbing the content and performing in-depth analysis to identify the functional changes required
- Owning and producing relevant analysis/design artefacts and documentation including high level designs, user stories and related artefacts such as sequence diagrams, logical data models, state models etc.
- Owning the analysis/design tasks, timescales and approach and supporting the Product Owner to achieve the delivery outcomes needed
- Task management of one or more Technical Business Analysts in a small team including management and accountability of the work performed.
- Working with the Solutions Architect to produce appropriate, thorough, solutions to meet stakeholders needs and are aligned with EA and Product roadmaps and governance
- Acquiring subject matter expertise in Mastercard products and processes and providing thought leadership to help drive projects forward
- Acting as a role model to other Technical Business Analysts mentoring more Junior TBAs to develop and grow the team.
Skills & Experience
- Strong analysis and problem-solving skills. A desire to learn and a curiosity to understand our payment systems products and processes.
- Experience in the Payments Industry, ideally Clearing and Settlement systems. Experience with Account-to-Account Payments is desirable.
