Manufacturing and Operations Director

Aquadart Bathrooms Ltd (part of the HLD Group of companies) are a major UK manufacturer and importer of bathroom products for the home. Our well-respected product range is installed in tens of thousands of homes each year and our customers include national retailers and specialist bathrooms distribution channels.

We employ 150 people at our site in Keighley, West Yorkshire where we make shower trays, and wooden panel-based bathroom furniture. We also import shower screens and bathroom taps, which are warehoused in Keighley.

The Manufacturing & Operations Director will be a highly visible Board role reporting into the Managing Director, leading our manufacturing, warehousing and supply chain functions.

As the Group Operations Director, you will have the following accountabilities:

· Working with the senior management team to deliver consistent commercial and operational performance.

· Managing the cost base of the business for manufactured items, through labour, materials and process control.

· Delivering excellent and timely customer service through on time and in full delivery.

· Managing the cost and efficiency of our logistics and supply chain.

· Leading H&S, ISO standards and quality within the business

· Drive improvements in the business by specifying and leading projects to do so.

· Ability to work at both the strategic and tactical level

· Results orientated professional with the ability to work to tight deadlines in a dynamic environment

· Collaborates to form and maintain good relationships both internally and externally

· Commercial and financially astute

· A problem solver and logical thinker, creative in finding solutions to complex challenges

· Able to demonstrate successful leadership in a similar manufacturing and distribution business. Min £20m t/o and 100+ staff

· Ideally you will be based within an hour’s commute of Keighley, or be willing to relocate as the role is not hybrid or remote

Salary & Benefits:

We offer an attractive salary package in excess of £100k + car allowance + pension + 25 days holiday
