Permanent contract | £27,344 to £29,439 per annum (Scale G) | 37 hours per week | County Hall, Norwich

Our IT Department is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic individual, who has excellent customer service skills and a willingness to learn new skills to join their Service Delivery System Support Team.

In this role, you will provide a support and development function for our IT Service Management System which is used to record, track and fulfil all requests received from Norfolk County Council staff with IT Equipment. You will need to have an agile approach to your work with a with an interest in IT, a good level of IT competence, organisational and communication skills.

This post will be responsible for the maintenance and development of the following areas of the system in conjunction with our Service Delivery System Analyst: Form creation, Process creation, Self-Service portal configuration & maintenance, Microsoft Virtual Agent, System integrations, API integrations and automations.

This post will provide a fantastic and exciting opportunity for somebody eager to develop their core and advanced IT skills. You will partake in developing innovative solutions to meet business requirements using a wide range of bespoke systems. Your will have exposure to HTML, Lua, JSON, SQL, C++ or C# and training will be provided in the use of these.

Your duties will include liaising with customers to gather requirements for upcoming projects on your own and for bigger pieces of work with our Service Delivery System Analyst. You will monitor the work queue and fulfil any requests within your ability and will raise and monitor requests for support raised with our ITSM (Information Technology Service Management) supplier.

Within our ITSM system, it will be your responsibility to maintain open tickets by completing tasks, updating customers, and ensuring that the ticket is on the right path.
