Sales Assistant – WHSmith – Luton Airport
Contract Type – Permanent; over 18's only need to apply.
Contracted Hours: As below, only apply if you can work the mentioned work patterns.
P/T:3 in and 3 off shift patterns 26.25 hours
F/T: 37.5 hours per week working any 5 from 7 days
Sales Assistant working hours will be offered between Monday to Sunday:
Morning shifts from 3.30am to 2pm.
Afternoon Shifts: 12pm to 12am
£10 per hour- 5.6 weeks annual leave

Airport Requirements:
- 5 years continuous references (professional/educational) to gain an Airside Airport Security Pass
- Criminal Records Bureau Check – to be completed by WHSmith if your application is successful
Candidates must be aged 18 or above.
Sales Assistant introduction:
To provide exceptional customer service, proactively dealing with all customers, making the most of every sales opportunity and acting as an ambassador delivering the WHSmith brand to all our customers.
Role of a Sales Assistant:
- To always deliver a friendly service, smiling, greeting and making eye contact with every customer you come into contact with
- Working on tills accurately and efficiently to provide a positive customer experience.
- Carry out stock replenishment, ensuring all areas of the store remain tidy
- Working as an active member of the team, supporting colleagues in all tasks
- Meeting high standards of display and visual merchandising to ensure the store is well presented. Accurately following planograms
