Job description

As part of our continued growth, an IT support position in Stratford-upon-Avon has become available. You will be working in a small, highly qualified team in a sometimes pressurised but friendly working environment.

The correct person will have a varied IT knowledge who is willing to learn. To be considered for the role you will need to be an excellent communicator, an effective team member and can deal with all kinds of companies and people, both technical and non-technical.

Experience
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate solid IT support experience with Microsoft knowledge including:

  • Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022
  • Windows 10 and 11
  • Active Directory administration
  • Office 365 or equivalent cloud services
  • Microsoft Office suite (primarily Excel, Word & Outlook)
  • Mobile device configuration (iPhone, Android)
  • Networking Principles (LAN, WAN, VPN)
  • Server Management including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
  • Backup Solutions

About You
Supporting companies and users based in the Midlands area from our full-time office based helpdesk Monday to Friday with occasional work onsite, you will have a ‘can do’ attitude and enjoy problem solving. You will have been working in a similar IT support role for at least a year and be adaptable and self-motivated. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to boost their experience and career.

Additional knowledge and experience with Mac/Linux would be desirable although not essential.

Although you do not need to be qualified to MCP status or above, an understanding of Microsoft implementation strategies is important. mtechnical will provide a solid training programme and actively support your career development.
