Vet Support Technician (Breadstone clinic)
We are looking to recruit a Vet Support technician to work from our Breadstone site. The successful candidate will be assisting the team at our Equine hospital, supporting the mobile Vets during procedures at client's yard including X-Rays, endoscopic examinations and minor surgical procedures.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Setting up and care of equipment and assisting vets in all duties at client's yards.
- Driving to and from client's yards and transporting equipment.
- Managing the pharmacy including ordering/stocktake/auditing.
- Some administrational duties are required.
- Assisting the nurses at our Equine Hospital at Breadstone during quieter periods.
Relevant skills and experience:
- Strong customer service skills.
- Previous equine experience with good horse handling skills are essential.
- The ability to prioritise tasks and manage your own time effectively.
- Hold a full UK licence
This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, within the opening hours of 8.30am to 5.30pm. Some flexibility is required.
Salary will be paid at £10.73 per hour.
