Position: Loft Insulation Installers

Salary: £12.00 per hour

Start Date: 03.07.2023
Hours per week: Fixed-term contract for 6 to 8 weeks, 40 hours per week, day shift
Location: Travelling to Aberystwyth and other locations

Job Purpose

· The job involves lifting, climbing ladders accessing roof spaces using the Oxford Safety Matting system for Safe Access/egress. The successful candidate will have a good attention to detail and be able to work to all company Health & Safety procedures and be able to complete the work to a high standard achieving quality and production targets set by their supervisors.

· The work is predominantly on Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion & Powys as part of the loft Insulation Upgrade. Applicants will therefore require a CSCS card and full driving licence, due to the location of the works Vetting process will apply.

· Some work may be in existing homes and in an event the successful applicant should have a friendly and approachable personality.

Accountabilities

· Ensure all works are completed in line with industry and company standards to achieve the set quality targets

· Liaising with customers, full explaining what the installation will involve and ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded

· Ensure all company Health and Safety rules are always adhered to including all team members

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

· The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

· Current, full driving licence is essential

· Must have an up to date CSCS card to gain access to working sites

· Excellent face to face communication skills and able to deliver a consistently high standard of customer service

· Proven ability to self-motivate, achieve set targets and experience of working without direct supervision, using initiative and working to deadlines

· Flexible approach to working hours due to the nature of the job

· Experience of working/complying with Health and Safety policies and procedures

· Qualified candidates will have a good working knowledge of the insulation industry and current technical skills, preferably with installing experience
