Job description
We are seeking a team - oriented and enthusiastic IT Support Specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will possess a willingness to learn, a drive for problem-solving, and a passion for helping others. They will serve as a representation as well as a leader of the technical support team.
Immediate start dates are available as well as weekly pay. We are also willing to train the right candidate.
As part of our technical support group, the IT support specialist will be responsible for:
- Providing day-to-day technical-related support with computer hardware and software
- Working directly with clients and other team members, demonstrating guidance and support by recommending hardware and software improvements when needed while achieving SLA goals
- Working alongside IT services, client strategy specialists, the sales division, numerous projects, and Network admin
- Suggesting hardware and software improvements, as well as recommending changes to products or services based on customers’ needs
- Carrying out backup and restore management processes as well as anti-virus/anti-malware management processes
- Utilizing the RMM platform to oversee alerts and notifications on client infrastructures
- Overseeing service issue and technical escalations, as well as clients patch management
- Possessing familiarity with warranty management and security management, including Log files and IDS/IPS, as well as with client vulnerability patches
- Maintaining reports on customer issues and resolutions
- Providing 24/7 support desk coverage including after-hours on-call support
- Assisting with transiting from Google to Microsoft
- Successfully developing and conserving additional MS Forms when needed
- Providing training to team members on Microsoft apps
- Overseeing the work of other tech staff members to ensure all work is promptly performed and finished
- More responsibilities may be assigned upon hire
Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- Prior experience with IT, customer service, or other related fields
- Hands-on experience with helpdesk, and/or network administration, and Windows server
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft’s Office apps
- A strong understanding of Google Docs and Sheets
- Must be able to accomplish duties and responsibilities with little or no supervision
- Possesses a positive attitude, strong character, and personal integrity
- Demonstrates a commitment to growth and shows a devotion to motivate and educate their team to achieve their specific goals
- Ability to effectively work and communicate in a team setting
- The ability to successfully work under pressure
- AWS knowledge is a plus!
