Nasittuq is searching for an IT Support Specialist to join our growing team to provide event, device, and application technical support for Nasittuq staff.

This is a full-time permanent position based in either Ottawa or North Bay, in a hybrid work environment. The IT Support Specialist will diagnose, troubleshoot, configure, and maintain computer hardware/software, cloud and server-based application services, mobile phones, email systems, office productivity software, and remote access.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and respond to service requests from staff daily to support consistent access to business systems across the organization.
• Provide hands-on and remote support of company managed Windows based PCs/Laptops, Apple mobile phones and PC peripherals.
• Maintain, expand, and modify internal and external SharePoint sites for user access permissions, data libraries, and workflows.
• Provide end-user support for the complete Microsoft 365 product suite, Adobe, and other general desktop applications.
• User account and operations management of email systems and central Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications (Oracle / Maximo).
• Perform other duties as assigned and required by the organization.

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in information technology, computer science, or relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in information technology, PC support, and applications support.
• Excellent communication, organization, and multi-tasking skills.

• Able to quickly, efficiently, and independently solve issues for which a documented solution may not exist.
• Specific experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Cloud Services, and enterprise applications.
• Adaptability and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced and technically challenging environment.
• Must be a Canadian Citizen, be eligible for and maintain a Level (II) SECRET security clearance.

• MCSA Certification
• A+ Certification
