Mac Haik's Southway Ford located in San Antonio, TX seeks an IT Support Specialist to provide on-site support for our operations.
Position Description
The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing first level support for all IT support requests. This includes hardware and software troubleshooting as well as recording, tracking and following up on the status of assigned IT support ticket. The position entails explaining technical issues in non-technical terms, assisting customers with overcoming their computer challenges and providing best in class service and support. This position is also expected to help identify improvement opportunities for service and to participate in team efforts to optimize service improvements.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Associates degree in the computer science field or equivalent work experience and/or industry certifications
- Previous IT experience supporting technology solutions in a large-scale, distributed environment.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
- Successful completion of pre-employment screening
- Authorization to work in the USA
