Starting salary - £33,774 rising to £35,551 per annum plus an attractive benefits package

You will be based remotely (at home) within the UK in line with our agile working policy with the view to attend meetings in our office spaces in London and Haywards Heath when required and attend National Executive meetings when required which are held at different locations within the UK.
Job Summary
Are you looking for a new role that will help to shape the future of schools? Would you be interested in supporting school leaders when they need it most?
The aim of the role is to provide support to the Policy, Research, Press and Communications directorate in their work developing NAHT policy and running campaigns.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake research, compile statistics, prepare and present reports, briefing papers and initial drafts of policy documents and assist with the production and delivery of member surveys, presentations and campaign materials.
You will also provide administrative support for the Directorate and our Executive Committees and Sector Councils, including arranging meetings preparing agendas and papers, taking minutes and providing general administrative support.
Person Specification
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual educated to degree level or equivalent. You will have developed a high level of research skills and will have experience of working in an academic or office setting.
Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills and an interest in education are essential for this role.
