Lanark, Leeds and Grenville Addictions and Mental Health(LLGAMH) offers services and programs to people who are experiencing addiction and/or mental health issues. Our main site is located in Brockville, Ontariowhich is found along the beautiful St. Lawrence River in the heart of the famous 1000 Islands Region. LLGAMH has offices throughout the counties of Lanark, Leeds and Grenville including Brockville, Smiths Falls, Kemptville, Prescott, Gananoque and more. Lanark, Leeds, and Grenville represent a population of over 170,000 residents.
The Data Analyst works collaboratively with the management team as a resource supporting operational and strategic decision-making and planning to maximize client service and meet accountabilities required by funders. The incumbent is responsible for the provision of data utilization and decision support analysis, management of data quality, administration of risk-management initiatives and support for continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities
In addition to such other duties as may from time to time be assigned, and consistent always with the prescribed practices, procedures, and policies of the department and the agency, the incumbent shall:
- Provide Data Utilization and Decision Support Analysis.
- Analyze and compile data from a variety of sources into meaningful information to support evidence-based, operational and strategic decisions.
- Prepare reports in conjunction with the Financial Analysts for submission to funders as required.
- Prepare annual CAPS service targets in conjunction with clinical management for annual submission to funders.
- Liaise with the client database system developers to recommend design improvements and resolve data integrity issues, ensuring the system is meeting the needs of the Agency.
- Manage client systems and develops programs/tools as required by managers and staff.
- Work within the Ontario Health Team and MSAA regulatory agreements.
Education and Experience
- Minimum 2-year post secondary education in Health Information Management, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Three years’ experience in a decision support function in a community service or health care organization strongly preferred.
- Experience working in a not-for-profit organization an asset.
- Advanced computer skills including working knowledge of database and spreadsheet applications especially MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Familiarity with business intelligence platforms and other reporting tools is considered an asset.
- Working knowledge of EMWare and DATIS is preferred; functional knowledge of electronic medical records systems in general is considered an asset.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
- Organizational skills and flexibility to meet competing pressures and manage deadlines accordingly.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with the ability to present information effectively.
- Working knowledge of Ministry of Health and Long Term Care (MOHLTC) reporting.
- A clear understanding of and ability to demonstrate professional ethics, boundaries, and judgement.
- Submission of a satisfactory criminal reference check, including vulnerable sector screening, prior to hire.
- Ability to travel among Agency work sites.
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination (2 doses).
