Job description
A dynamic Web designer who will be able to work closely with team members and a variety of stakeholders to expand our presence on the web by designing new websites and updating existing ones. The successful candidate will be proficient in HTML and CSS. You will ensure that all elements of the online user experience are optimized for improved usability, usefulness, and exceptional visual design.
The successful candidate will evidence a passion for delivering adaptive and creative solutions to web design problems by staying up to date with best practices and emerging trends in technology.
Web Designer Responsibilities:
- Develop web pages and interactive multimedia.
- Create page layouts.
- Code web pages.
- Design web sites.
- Critique and provide input on other workers' designs.
- Manage graphic artists who support the marketing department.
- Manage and direct programmers who work on websites.
- Produce design concepts and visuals that meet marketing, advertising, and promotional goals.
Web Designer Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3+ years UI/UX design experience for digital products or services.
- A portfolio of professional Web & Graphic design work for both web and mobile platforms.
- 2 years of experience with HTML5 & CSS3 tools
- Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: inVision, iOS, Android, Design Systems, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- A team player but can work independently too.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Knowledge of Adobe range of products including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat , XD and Dreamweaver
- Some knowledge of Usability Factors in Human Computer Interaction.
