Responsibilities:

  • Aid in compiling customer sales presentations
  • Assisting in Sales growth, resulting in an increase in order intake and a stronger market presence for Esco GB within the industry
  • Attending exhibitions/trade shows throughout the UK & and Europe.
  • Business development through aiding in OEM partnership identification and strategic alliances.
  • Compiling and generating internal sales template documents, including costings sheets quote templates, and sketches of client requirements. Responsibility for understanding and ensuring that client deadlines are met.
  • Collaboration with the Engineering department to ensure that the design/solution being offered is aligned across the business. Gaining relevant project information/drawings.
  • Collaborating with the marketing department on the development of case studies and white papers
  • Coordinating with the factory team to gain equipment delivery times and costings where needed.
  • · Creating an understanding of pricing and market trends to adjust/react accordingly.
  • Developing an effective and detailed handover package to Engineering and project Management teams.
  • Further increasing Technical sales and application knowledge to offer greater support for highly customised or application-driven systems.
  • Maintaining up-to-date accounts and details on the CRM system.
  • Maintaining the open opportunities log and submittal to the Sales Manager on a weekly basis.
  • Reviewing incoming leads, and enquiries, and progressing as required to support the Sales Manager in active sales activities. This will include a review of client User Requirement Specifications and project documentation packages to determine system requirements.
  • Participating in client meetings, both online and face-to-face.
  • Preparing and following up on quotations by email & and phone when required.
  • Responsible for individual sales opportunities.
  • Responsible for updating quote templates and costings sheets in line with design changes or price increases from the Supply Chain.
  • Assisting the Sales Manager with a review of the customer terms and conditions of sale
  • Sourcing, calling and maintaining customers, representatives, and distributors
  • Supporting and/or establishing sales reps within Ireland and Europe.
  • Working with Esco agents to provide relevant support/product knowledge to ensure project conversion.
  • Responsibility to assist with the provision of training on the equipment range.
