Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced SEND Assistants/ Support workers to support our service user with his complex care needs.
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate individuals who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.
Our service user is a 10 year old boy who lives with his family in Coventry and requires support at school in Kingshurst, Birmingham.
Day shifts will commence with meeting him at school creating special memories with him and fulfilling all his clinical, personal, social, and physical care needs.
He loves to attend school, socialising with his friends, teachers, and care team. He enjoys all forms of sensory play along with being out and about accessing the community.
We firmly believe that every child deserves an inclusive and nurturing environment. Our dedicated team will be committed to provide exceptional care and support with his complex care needs, ensuring he is filled with comfort and happiness.
It is advantageous if you have supported with challenging behaviours however this is not essential.
Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.
Essential Experience Required
- 3 months previous care experience
- Medication Administration
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
Desirable Experience
- Oral Suction
- Gastrostomy Care
- Seizure Management
Shifts Available
- Part Time days
- 8am-4pm

Weekdays : £12.00 per hour (£96 approx per shift)
Bank Holidays : £14.00 per hour(£112 approx per shift)
