$21.28 to $33.21 Per Hour

Job Summary: The IT Support Specialist works as a member of the IT Help Desk and is a front-line support position, analyzing, troubleshooting and resolving incidents including system failures and IT-related end user issues. Works as a team with other I.S. staff to resolve complex technical problems. Provides assistance to Senior Support Analyst. Maintains inventory and supporting documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of two years’ experience in a technical support position in a similar networked environment. A+ or other certification preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of desktop operating systems, and experience with office suite products and electronic mail systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and solid understanding of desktop hardware and software.
• Knowledge of desktop and network security, and experience with virus protection software.
• Must have outstanding customer service skills, excellent verbal and written documentation skills, and an abundance of patience.
