Business Operations Manager
About QuestDB
We have built the fastest open source time series database from the ground up to offer breakthrough performance for real-time analytics using SQL. We bring experience and technical approaches from low-latency trading to leverage real-time data processing in various industries such as financial services, IoT, application monitoring, and machine learning. The role
As a Business Operations Manager, you will be a critical part of our growing company, monitoring our organization’s functions and building processes that meet our business needs. You’re an analytical thinker who has experience of designing and implementing frameworks to unstructured problems. You are responsible for keeping track of the operations big picture and identify potential areas of improvement. You are a strong communicator and are well skilled in engaging with the multiple stakeholders of the business, understanding their interests or concerns, and unifying them around a common goal for success.
Responsibilities
- Maximize the efficiency of business procedures
- Provide data-driven insights on key performance indicators (KPI) and standardized business metrics to enable the delivery practice leaders see around corners and plan for the future
- Supporting the executive team’s vision and process ideals
- Ensuring staff working on processes are happy and operating efficiently
- Consult with external stakeholders to understand their priorities, operational challenges and technical infrastructure
- Together with our engineering teams, you are evaluating policies and support the team in implementing them
Requirements
- 3+ years work experience in a similar role
- Experience delivering state of the business documents and presentations
- Demonstrated experience recognizing a challenge and working with teams and data sources to diagnose the problem and recommend solutions
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Strong team player who is open to guiding colleagues on your areas of expertise
- The ability to understand, shape and deliver against customers' requirements
- Bonus if you have strong SQL skills and experience in data visualization

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £60,000.00-£80,000.00 per year
