About the role
We are looking for both Full Time (37hrs) and Part Time (24hrs) Support practitioners to join us at our Ardlui Service, based in Helensburgh. Ardlui House is a fun and friendly place for children and young people to have fun, relax, grow and learn. No two days are ever the same and we keep the service alive by using our creativity, enthusiasm and energy to ensure everyone who attends is able to express themselves, engage in activities and have access to local amenities. We pride ourselves on maintaining a safe and secure environment, a place where people want to visit time and time again and where children young people with complex support needs can thrive. The people we support have complex needs such as Autism, Learning Difficulties, challenging behaviour, epilepsy and communication/sensory needs.
Shifts are typically 12.2 hours or 6.20 hours including days nightshifts and as service needs direct.
About you
We are looking for individuals who are sensitive to people’s needs and proactive in supporting people to lead active lives. You will have a good understanding of the need to support people to stay healthy and safe, while being comfortable at managing risk accordingly.
You will use the best of your personality and skills every day. From supporting people to enjoy their favourite activities to enabling people to live independently, you will make a real difference.
